There are many westerners and also people from other countries who still relate Vietnam with war. But as a matter of fact the country is filled with fascinating natural beauty and interesting village life. The country’s rain forest regions continue to give way new species and exotic wildlife. The islands and sandy beaches are really worth seeing. These are famous among all of Southeast Asia. The cuisine is really tasty and can attract any tourists. Nearly two decades have passed and now Vietnam is officially united. Over a period of time the country has done a remarkable job and has finally become successful in healing its wounds. Today, Vietnam can surely boast of a perfect tourist destination.
Location of Vietnam is somewhat very interesting. The country is shaped like an elongated S. Vietnam covers a surface area of 128,000 square miles where it stretches out the length of the Indochinese Peninsula. The stretching makes the country roughly the size of Italy or, in the U.S., New Mexico. The four borders of Vietnam can be mentioned as China lies to the north of the country while Cambodia and Laos lies to the west. In the east direction there is South China Sea.
Topographically the country is very colorful. The abundance of natural beauty makes the place exquisitely gorgeous. The soaring mountains, heavenly waterfalls, primeval forests inhabited by exotic fauna, fertile deltas, mysterious caves, sinuous rivers, and otherworldly rock formations, and wonderful sandy beaches all make the country unique as well as memorable. If I don’t think about nature, visitors can also come here in search of rich history and culture. Vietnam has colorful history where the countrymen suffered and crossed many problems.
